To be looked upon as a person who succeeds without pure grace of movement is to be compared to ancient man who fought eachother without depth of thought, a terrible waste of time. Unco-ordination is not a present when working with an understanding of the grace of movement spectrum. where-ever we choose to sit in this spectrum is our choice. This kind of fighter chooses to sit at the top of this spectrum.
In reality, more than half a battle is spent non fighting. There is the period of preparation that preceeds the battle, there are rest periods during the battle, there are the moments just before and after each clash, and ultimately after the battle the only conlusion of the matter is achieved through awards, rewards, treaties etc.
This kind of fighter can achieve success through knowledge of these non fighting periods of time, and applying techniques to make each actual clash a more positive result, due to the depth of understanding of time. Achieving success through archaic methods of fear then fight, is a travesty to the grace of the universe.
If you wish to watch men and women such as these you can feel comfortable in the thought that people like this are currently alive and doing exactly this.
This kind of fighter described above is a Five Rings Dojo Fighter.
